It was Wednesday, January 27, 2010 when Steve Jobs announced the much hyped arrival of iPad. So what we can do right now is take an "iPad review" regarding on what applications will be a good start for the new iPad tablet.

First, Steve Jobs declared that all the 140,000 collection available in App Store will work fine with iPad which will include The New York Times app. The app called Brushes and iBookstore are also said to work fine with the gadget. All the apps could run with pixel for pixel accuracy or one could run them in a full screen mode.

So here are a few applications that you can expect to run in Apple iPad tablet and I think will be a must have for everyone.

FACEBOOK- Almost everyone has a Facebook account nowadays. After Google bought the company, Facebook became the top Social Networking site last year. One can enjoy updating their friends, access profiles, photos and play their favorite game.

KINDLE- Since iBook store is compatible with iPad, Kindle is sure to get huge attention from readers as it could be a good alternative. Kindle format eBooks will be a sure hit when its compatible with the iPad.

Google Earth- The new iPad wiil now take you around the world without using a magnifier the way people do it with their iPhone. Clearer images of the fine beaches around the world will come out because of the larger screen.

Flickr- How about accessing your pictures from your Flickr acoount and sharing them with ease to your friends without having them to pass around the way you did with your phone because with the new iPad, they could now see every details of those precious captured memories?

AP Mobile- Get the most comprehensive stories, videos, photos from New York Times app and AP Mobile from your iPad. You get a large screen to download videos on demand on every moment as the latest news is reported in real time.

Virtual Games- Games like Grand Theft Auto plays well with iPhone 3G but playing this adrenalin pumping game with a boost of a large screen will give your brain a lot more of adrenalin juices. Video games can now be enjoyed whether you're in your bathroom or in the park.

There are many possibilities with the new iPad tablet. Of course not everyone will be happy about it but with the features that Steve Jobs included for only $499.00, who can resist it? Geeks and techies expect more but I believe there are more to come. We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg that iPad has in store for everyone with its upgrades that I believe will be available within the year. More iPad Reviews here.
